Welcome to Baird Middle School!

As I begin my third year as Assistant Principal at Baird Middle School, I am filled with gratitude and excitement to continue serving this incredible school community. Every day, I am reminded that being an educator is more than a profession- it's a calling. It is truly an honor to work alongside our amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. This year marks my 20th year in public education. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving as a classroom teacher, Summer School Coordinator, Translator for Chicopee Public Schools, and Assistant Principal in Milford Public Schools before joining Ludlow Public Schools. Each role has shaped the leader I am today and strengthened my belief that meaningful relationships are the foundation of student success. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Our Lady of the Elms College and hold Massachusetts certifications as a PreK–12 Principal/Assistant Principal and Spanish (Grades 5–12) educator.

My greatest passion is building meaningful connections with students. Whether I am greeting them at the door each morning, celebrating their accomplishments, or helping them navigate challenges, I want every child to know they are valued, supported, and capable of achieving great things. Middle school is a time of tremendous growth, and I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where every student feels seen, respected, encouraged, and inspired to reach their full potential. At Baird, we are more than a school; we are a family. I believe that when educators, students, and families work together with trust, communication, and compassion, amazing things happen. My door is always open, and I look forward to partnering with our families to ensure every student has the support they need to succeed both academically and personally.

Outside of school, my greatest joy is spending time with my husband and our three wonderful daughters: Johanyliz, Juliany, and Jamilet. We enjoy traveling, watching basketball, creating lasting memories together, and spending time with our two dogs, Princess and Luna. These experiences remind me daily of the importance of family, kindness, resilience, and finding joy in life's everyday moments.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children. It is a privilege to be part of their educational journey, and I look forward to another year of learning, growth, laughter, and achievement. Together, we will continue to build a school community where every student feels they belong, believes in their potential, and is inspired to achieve excellence.
